Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Urban Studios LA. By booking a session, purchasing a package, or enrolling in a membership, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a professional, organized, and enjoyable experience for all clients.

Please read these terms carefully before completing your booking.

1. Booking & Studio Reservations

All studio sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment has been received and confirmation has been provided by Urban Studios LA.

Clients are responsible for selecting the correct service, session length, and package when booking.

2. Full Podcast Production Session — $525

The Full Podcast Production Session includes one two-hour studio session and the following services:

• Professional podcast studio access.

• High-end cameras, microphones, lighting, and recording equipment.

• Professional audio and video recording.

• Delivery of raw audio and video footage.

• Ten professionally edited short-form video clips.

• Captions for the included edited clips.

• Social-media-ready formatting for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Digital delivery of finished files.

Additional editing, production, and content services are available for an additional fee.

The two-hour session includes setup, recording, and other session-related activities unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients should arrive prepared to maximize their recording time.

The ten edited clips are included in the package price. Additional revisions, clips, or editing requests outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

3. Studio-Only Rental — $175 Per Hour

Studio-only rental is intended for clients who require studio access and equipment without the full production and editing package.

The rental includes:

• One hour of studio rental.

• Access to professional podcast equipment.

• Cameras, microphones, and lighting.

• Delivery of raw audio and video files recorded during the session.

Editing and additional production services are not included but may be purchased separately.

Clients are responsible for operating equipment appropriately unless studio personnel have agreed to provide technical assistance. Any additional rental time must be approved and is subject to availability and additional charges.

4. Multi-Session Packages

Urban Studios LA offers discounted multi-session production packages.

• 2 Sessions — $1,000 ($500 per session)

• 3 Sessions — $1,425 ($475 per session)

• 4 Sessions — $1,800 ($450 per session)

• 5 Sessions — $2,175 ($435 per session)

• 10 Sessions — $4,100 ($410 per session)

Each session includes the services listed under the Full Podcast Production Session, including a two-hour recording session and ten edited, captioned short-form clips.

Multi-session packages are valid for six months from the date of purchase and are subject to studio availability.

Unused sessions expire at the end of the six-month period unless otherwise required by applicable law or an extension is approved in writing by Urban Studios LA.

Packages are intended for the purchasing client and may not be transferred to another person or business without written approval.

Cancellations and rescheduling of package sessions are governed by the Booking & Cancellation Policy below.

5. Monthly Memberships

Urban Studios LA offers monthly memberships for creators who record consistently and want priority booking, discounted services, and ongoing studio access.

Creator Membership — $799 Per Month

Includes:

• Two studio sessions per month.

• Two hours per session.

• Full studio and equipment access.

• Raw audio and video files.

• Ten edited and captioned short-form clips per session.

• Priority booking.

• Member pricing on additional services.

Pro Membership — $1,499 Per Month

Includes:

• Four studio sessions per month.

• Two hours per session.

• Full studio and equipment access.

• Raw audio and video files.

• Ten edited and captioned short-form clips per session.

• Priority booking.

• Option to reserve a recurring studio time, subject to availability.

• Priority editing.

• Discounted additional sessions and services.

Studio Partner Membership — $2,099 Per Month

Includes:

• Six studio sessions per month.

• Two hours per session.

• Full studio and equipment access.

• Raw audio and video files.

• Ten edited and captioned short-form clips per session.

• Preferred booking access.

• Recurring preferred time slot, subject to availability.

• Priority editing.

• Discounted additional sessions and services.

• Additional member perks as communicated by Urban Studios LA.

Membership Terms

Membership sessions are subject to studio availability. Priority booking does not guarantee unlimited or unrestricted studio access.

Memberships include only the number of sessions and services listed for the selected membership level. Additional sessions, editing, and production services may incur additional charges.

Membership sessions are intended for use during the applicable monthly membership period. Unused sessions do not roll over into subsequent months unless expressly approved in writing or required by applicable law.

Membership cancellation, renewal, billing, and any applicable notice requirements will be disclosed at enrollment. Members may cancel according to the cancellation instructions and terms provided at signup.

Membership sessions are also subject to the 48-hour cancellation policy described below. Any membership-specific cancellation or rescheduling benefits must be communicated in writing by Urban Studios LA.

Urban Studios LA reserves the right to manage booking availability to serve both members and one-time clients fairly.

6. Additional Editing & Production Services

Clients may request additional services to customize their production experience, including:

• Additional short-form video clips.

• Full podcast episode editing.

• YouTube-ready video editing.

• Additional captioned content.

• Thumbnails.

• Custom graphics and branding.

• Rush editing.

• Additional studio time.

Pricing for additional services is available upon request.

Additional services must be agreed upon before work begins. Any applicable fees, deliverables, turnaround times, and revision limits will be communicated to the client before the additional work is authorized.

7. Last-Minute Booking Fee

A $75 last-minute booking fee applies to new bookings made 48 hours or less before the requested appointment time.

This fee is in addition to the applicable session or package price and will be disclosed before payment.

Last-minute bookings remain subject to studio availability and confirmation.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Urban Studios LA understands that schedules can change. To ensure fair access to the studio and protect reserved production time, the following policy applies.

More Than 48 Hours Before the Appointment

Cancellations or rescheduling requests submitted more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be made without a cancellation fee.

Any applicable refund, credit, or package adjustment will be handled in accordance with the payment terms disclosed at booking and applicable law.

Within 48 Hours of the Appointment

For cancellations or rescheduling requests made 48 hours or less before the appointment:

• Fifty percent (50%) of the session value will be retained as a cancellation fee.

• The remaining fifty percent (50%) may be applied as a credit toward a rescheduled session.

• Rescheduled sessions are subject to studio availability.

Any credit is subject to the applicable package or membership terms and any requirements of applicable law.

Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows

Same-day cancellations and failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice are considered no-shows.

Urban Studios LA's standard policy is to charge or retain 100% of the session fee for same-day cancellations and no-shows, subject to applicable law.

Clients who anticipate arriving late should contact the studio as soon as possible. Late arrival may reduce the available recording time, and the session may still end at its originally scheduled time.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Clients must contact Urban Studios LA directly to request a cancellation or rescheduling.

The request should include the client's name, appointment date, and scheduled time. A cancellation or rescheduling request is not confirmed until acknowledged by the studio.

If Urban Studios LA must cancel a session, the client will be offered an appropriate rescheduling option or refund, as applicable and required by law.

9. Membership Cancellation Policy

Membership sessions are subject to the 48-hour cancellation policy unless a specific membership benefit provides otherwise in writing.

Membership cancellation requests must be submitted using the cancellation method provided at enrollment. Applicable notice periods, renewal dates, and billing terms will be disclosed when the membership is purchased.

Cancellation of a membership does not automatically cancel an individual studio reservation. Members must separately cancel or reschedule existing appointments.

Any refund, unused-session credit, or remaining membership benefit will be handled in accordance with the membership agreement and applicable law.

10. Payment & Additional Charges

All service prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes or other required charges will be disclosed where applicable.

Payment is required according to the terms presented during booking or enrollment. Additional services, extra studio time, or requests outside the selected package may result in additional charges.

Urban Studios LA will communicate and obtain the client's authorization for additional paid services before proceeding.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the selected package and any additional charges before confirming a purchase.

11. Recording Files & Content Delivery

Urban Studios LA will provide the raw files and edited deliverables specifically included in the client's purchased package.

Files will be delivered digitally using a delivery method designated by the studio. Estimated delivery timelines, where applicable, will be communicated to the client.

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up delivered files promptly. Urban Studios LA does not guarantee indefinite storage or availability of files after delivery unless a separate written storage agreement is in place.

Requests for additional edits, alternate formats, extra clips, or changes beyond the original agreed deliverables may incur additional fees.

Clients should review delivered files promptly and communicate any concerns within a reasonable period.

12. Client Content & Intellectual Property

Clients retain ownership of the original content, recordings, scripts, and materials they bring to the studio, subject to any third-party rights.

Subject to full payment and any separate written agreement, clients may use the recordings and deliverables created for their project for their intended personal or commercial purposes.

Urban Studios LA retains ownership of its pre-existing branding, logos, templates, production methods, and other materials not created exclusively for the client.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and releases for all music, images, video clips, trademarks, and other materials they provide or use in their recordings.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of third-party materials or grants rights that the client does not possess.

13. Studio Rules & Equipment

Clients are expected to treat the studio, equipment, staff, and other guests respectfully.

Clients may be held responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage caused by their negligence, misuse, or unauthorized handling of studio equipment.

Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and according to studio instructions.

Unsafe behavior, harassment, illegal activity, or conduct that disrupts studio operations may result in the session being ended.

Any additional charges related to damage, excessive cleanup, or unauthorized use must be reasonable, documented where appropriate, and permitted by applicable law.

14. Guest Attendance & Conduct

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their guests and recording participants follow studio policies.

Clients must obtain any necessary consent from guests and participants before recording their voices, images, or likenesses.

Urban Studios LA may establish reasonable limits on the number of attendees based on studio capacity, safety, and production requirements.

15. Privacy, Recording & Promotional Use

Recordings produced during a session are intended for the client's project.

Urban Studios LA will not use a client's identifiable recordings, likeness, or unpublished content for promotional purposes without obtaining the necessary permission, except where otherwise authorized by law or a separate written agreement.

Clients are responsible for notifying guests and obtaining any legally required consent before recording or publishing content.

Personal information collected during booking will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any privacy policy published by Urban Studios LA.

16. Studio Availability & Unforeseen Circumstances

All bookings, packages, and memberships are subject to reasonable scheduling limitations and studio availability.

In the event of equipment failure, facility issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond the studio's reasonable control, Urban Studios LA will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients and arrange an appropriate alternative, rescheduling option, or refund as applicable.

Urban Studios LA will not be responsible for delays or interruptions to the extent caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

17. Limitation of Responsibility

Clients are responsible for reviewing their recordings and deliverables before publishing or distributing them.

Urban Studios LA will make reasonable efforts to provide the services described in the selected package but does not guarantee audience growth, social media engagement, monetization, business results, or any specific outcome from content production.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Changes to Services & Terms

Urban Studios LA may update its services, pricing, packages, and policies from time to time.

Changes will be communicated through the website, booking platform, or other appropriate channels. Updated terms will apply as permitted by law and will not retroactively remove rights already established under an existing agreement.

The terms presented and accepted at the time of booking or purchase will govern that transaction, subject to applicable law and any mutually agreed written changes.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without limiting any consumer protections or other rights that may apply under relevant law.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any valid agreement between the parties.
